overview
seelenheil is a live site i built for a psychological counseling practice in switzerland. the work had to feel calm, trustworthy, and human without turning into a clinic brochure. the visitor should understand the focus, the approach, and how to take a first step.
the public surface covers home, about, services, and contact. each page carries one clear job: introduce the practice, deepen the person and values, explain offerings and process, then make reaching out feel simple.
what it is
home opens on finding a path to inner balance, then walks through focus areas, working style, media, and a soft invitation to a free first conversation. about holds the personal story, training, and values. services lays out counseling formats and how sessions work. contact is the booking and reachability surface.
visually the site stays quiet and warm. clear hierarchy, enough air, and a tone that respects sensitive subject matter. motion stays light so the content can lead.
how i built it
i built the site as a modern multi page front end with a section driven layout. pages stay focused. components carry the denser content blocks. the goal was a complete practice site that feels finished in german, not a template with filler.
the hard part was tone. counseling marketing can get either too clinical or too soft. seelenheil needed a middle path: professional, personal, and easy to scan.
design notes
practice sites often bury the first step behind walls of text. here the invitation to an erstgespräch stays visible without shouting. services and process needed enough detail for trust, and enough restraint that someone in a hard moment can still follow the page.
media and values sections exist to round out the person behind the practice without turning the site into a blog first experience.
outcome
the result is a complete public site for a real counseling practice. it pushed how i handle sensitive service storytelling, multi page calm architecture, and clear calls to a first conversation.
